The Astral Imperative, Vol. II – Review

Truly unique and inspiring! Volume II – Once again I am delighted and suprised at the span and depth covered in Dresner’s writing. Strong female characters which are convincingly realized. One of the things that was truly inspiring for me, as an amateur amateur (yes I meant to write that twice…)writer myself was his capacity to make the dialogue interesting and believable. In a lot of sci-fi there is the sense of anticipation that builds before conflict usually manifested by large battle scenes and violence. In Dresner’s second book this same sense of anticipation is provoked by an impending conflict of ideas and manifested in dialogue between the characters. Truly unique and inspiring.
